![]() In addition to his father, Mark was predeceased by a brother, Drew Glaser. Glaser of Green Pond, NJ and a brother, Jeff Glaser of Cornelius, NC. ![]() Mark is survived by his wife, Jan Harrison of Stone Ridge, a son, Mark F. ![]() Mark cherished his family and friends and loved a simpler life filled with natural beauty. Mark loved the outdoors, working with his hands and thrived on restoring life to machines and beauty to landscapes. He inspired those around him with his dry wit and work ethic. Mark was a volunteer on the Catskill Mountain Railroad in Kingston, NY for the past 10 years and was on the Board of Directors. Mark was a passionate builder, mechanic and was a prolific writer of poetry and political commentary. In the mid-1990s, he became the Maintenance and Facilities Manager for the Glen Ridge Country Club in Glen Ridge, NJ until 2007. Mark worked for corporate Volkswagen during the 1980s as an Analyst and later as a VW mechanic. Mark and his wife, Jan reside in Green Pond, NJ and enjoyed a weekend home in Stone Ridge, NY. He attended Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT and St. During his formative years, Mark and his family lived in Bethesda, MD, Needham, MA before moving to Ridgefield, CT where he graduated from Ridgefield High School in 1972. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was a son of the late George Glaser & Maureen Schneider Glaser of Ridgefield, CT.
